How it works

Kerastase discovered the reason behind damage that keeps coming back: CALCIUM!

Damaged hair is porous and absorbs 3 times more calcium from water (vs healthy hair) leading to a calcium overdose. At each contact with water, calcium accumulates creating persistent damage. Calcium sneaks in between keratin chains, and breaks their links, making hair rigid, stiff and easy to break. On the outside, calcium builds-up, on the scales, making hair rough and dull.

Free hair from calcium overdose with citric acid, an organic acid that acts from core to surface, to neutralize dullness and stiffness. Once calcium is removed Glycine, an amino acid, penetrates hair's inner layer to deeply repair. As a result, broken links between keratin chains are reconnected, dramatically reducing breakage.
